Kathmandu: Ministry of Health and Population has corrected and matched the number of deceased from Covid-19, with the Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre(CCMC).
Jageshwor Gautam, the spokeperson of the ministry of health and population, in the regular press meet organized by the ministry, said the ministry has added the number of deceased by 618 to match the record of CCMC.
Gautam said- "CCMC had managed the dead body even in the house of infected. The statistics presented by CCMC was thus higher than that of ministry. And this has been corrected."
Government had earlier formed a committee to match the record of deceased from Covid-19 in Nepal.
